Our company

… was founded in 1991 by Louise & Othmar Fassbind-Hill with the aim of teaching handicrafts in such a clear and affordable manner that such tiny works of art could bring pleasure to both artist and beholder.

Over the years thousands of people participated in Fabilo courses throughout the world, primarily at our School in Rickenbach, Switzerland. Others taught themselves using one of our books.

The enthusiasm Othmar put into teaching was unquestionably admired. He was a great craftsman, whose recent death has left a huge hole. In his name and encouraged by innumerable friends and former students I have decided to continue with Fabilo. Step by step …
